Teddy's first season eventing ended with a sudden change in riders.
Having cruised through Novice and Training level, he was scheduled to
end the season at Preliminary with a go at the Virginia Horse Trials.
However, when Nicole Villers stepped into his life, she recognized
caution as the better part of valor and dropped him back to Training,
proceeding to cruise around the course like a romp in the park. After an equally cautious and well-planned year gaining excellent mileage over tough Preliminary courses in the Mid-Atlantic and New England, one minor error left the the pair with an impressive, but out of the ribbons, finish at the Morven Park CCI*--including having one of only four double clear rounds in stadium.. |
